Best Armor Augments and Armor Recommendations
Bloodlust gives you the Frenzy virus whenever you're engaged in combat with any large monster and aren't in the state where you've overcome it. In addition, you'll receive buffs during the two minutes that Frenzy lasts or until you overcome it. In exchange, your health will drain continuously. Note that this health drain stacks with Dereliction, but both won't cause it to drop to 0. Failing to overcome it will give you the same penalties, meaning no red health and more damage taken from Frenzy attacks.
Because the Frenzy counts as a status ailment, Bloodlust synergizes really well with Coalescence so that you'll consistently have an Attack boost during Frenzy and even after you've overcome it. In fact, the Arc / Storge Helm comes with both skills, making it a good choice if you plan to use Bloodlust.
Level | Attack | Element | Status |
---|---|---|---|
Lv 1 | 10 | 5 | 5 |
Lv 2 | 15 | 7 | 7 |
Lv 3 | 20 | 10 | 10 |
Your Attack, Elemental Attack, and Status all increase while you have the Frenzy. The amount boosted scales depending on the level of Bloodlust you have equipped.
While you are under the effects of the Frenzy, you'll also gain Evade Window and Constitution levels equivalent to the level of Bloodlust you have on. This means equpping Lv 3 Bloodlust will give you the invulnerability of Lv 3 Evade Window and reduces your stamina consumption by 30%. Note that these bonuses will not stack with those skills.
Level | Affinity | Duration |
---|---|---|
Lv 1 | 20% | 60 seconds |
Lv 2 | 25% | 60 seconds |
Lv 3 | 25% | 90 seconds |
Once you've overcome the Frenzy, your Affinity will increase, but having Bloodlust will increase the boost more than usual. You'll also recover your entire red health gauge. However, since you'll no longer be infected, the previous buffs will disappear. This isn't a huge issue though since you'll get the Frenzy again once the Affinity boost expires and you're still attacking the monster.
