How to Download Updates
Nintendo Switch
| 1 |  Hover over Monster Hunter Rise in your main menu, then press the + button on your controller. |

| 2 |  Go to Software Update, then press "Via the Internet." You will also need to close the game if it's currently running. It should be downloading now! |
Alternatively, you can also restart your Switch by pressing the power button long enough for power options to appear. When your Switch has restarted, a notification for an update should appear.
PC (Steam)
| 1 |  Steam will immediately let you know whenever a game you have installed needs an update. An "Update" button replaces the "Play" button so you won't have a choice. It also appears on your "Downloads" page. |

| 2 |  Once you press the update button, it should start downloading immediately! The speed will largely depend on the file size and your internet's download speed. |
Update Roadmap and Schedule
CAPCOM has a lot of event quests with different rewards lined up for their playerbase while waiting for Sunbreak's release. These event quests are broken up into separate free updates, which usually are made available monthly on Switch.
