Preorder Bonuses and Early Purchase Bonuses

Loyal Dog Costume and Striped Cat Costume

As a bonus add-on for preordering, you get to unlock these cute costumes for your Palicoes and Palamutes. Aptly named the Loyal Dog Costume is an Akita Inu layered armor reminiscent of the famous dog Hachiko. While the Palico layered armor is a Striped Cat Costume that looks simply adorable!

These layered armor sets are currently available on the Nintendo eShop and the Steam store as a purchase bonus for Sunbreak.

Digital Version Preorders

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is a DLC expansion and requires the base Monster Hunter Rise game to actually play it. While a set containing the base game and the expansion has been announced, there are currently no digital preorders for it. Existing owners can preorder either the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition in all digital stores.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo allows preorders of both the Standard and Deluxe editions through the eShop app on the Nintendo Switch and their online store.

1	Enlarge Access and log in to the eShop on your Nintendo Switch.
2	Enlarge Search for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak then select the edition you want to preorder. On the page itself, select Proceed to Preorder.
3	Press Next on the preorder information page.
4	Select a payment method.
5	Review details then press Confirm Preorder.

My Nintendo Store

Using your Nintendo Account, you can also preorder the expansion through your computer or phone! Make sure the Nintendo Account you're using is linked to your Switch and that it's connected to the internet to download the DLC.

1	Enlarge On the store page, click on Preorder.
2	Enlarge Select a payment method then press Next.
3	Enlarge Review details then select Confirm Preorder.

Steam (PC)

Both the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and the Deluxe Edition DLC are available for pre-purchase on Steam. Note that Steam will prevent you from purchasing Sunbreak if you don't own Monster Hunter Rise.

1	Enlarge Select the edition you want then click Add to Cart.
2	Enlarge Select Purchase for myself.
3	Enlarge Enter payment details then click Continue.
4	Enlarge Check the box to agree to the Steam Subscriber Agreement then click Purchase.

Physical Version Pre-Orders

While there won't be a physical cartridge that contains both the base game and the expansion, these products will provide a download voucher for the DLC.

Collector's Edition

The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Collector's edition can be preordered online from GameStop. For other regions, check with your local retailer for availability and preorder details.

This bundle contains a physical copy of Monster Hunter Rise and a download voucher for the Sunbreak DLC expansion. The set is priced at $69.99. The following major retailers have it for preorder on their respective websites.

Bonus Add-On Content End Date

Nintendo

Nintendo players will be able to avail of the add-on content bonuses until August 17, 2022, for purchase of any edition of the Sunbreak expansion.

Steam

Steam players may get the layered armor sets as a pre-purchase bonus provided that they purchase before June 30, 2022.

Codes Are Limited for the Physical Bundle

The physical copies of the Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Set should also have a code for these new layered armor sets. Codes will be valid until June 29, 2024.

Supplies will be limited for the bonus add-on content for the physical version of the MH Rise + Sunbreak set. This means that buying the physical version of the bundle may not have a code for the buddy layered armor set bonus.
