February 2023 Digital Event Livestream - Release Date and Time

Capcom will host a digital event livestream for Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise): Sunbreak on February 1, 2023. The livestream contains information about Free Title Update 4 and Update 14 which includes release date, new monsters, features, DLC, events, and more!

The livestream for Title Update 4 was aired on February 1, 2023 which featured the returning elder dragon Velkhana from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Risen Crimson Valstrax, DLCs, events, and more!

It was hosted by Bahari, Elgado's resident scientist.

Sunbreak's Free Title Update 4 is set to release on February 7, 2023 according the online Digital Event.

CAPCOM ID - Free Velkhana Costume Palamute Layered Armor

As announced in the Digital Event, CAPCOM ID users will be able to get the exclusive Velkhana Costume Layered Armor for their palamute!

New Title Update 4 Roadmap

The new roadmap has been revealed! Velkhana and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax are set to appear while other Risen Elder Dragons will be available for the Anomaly Reasearch Quests.

Free Title Update 5 is set for April, with a Returning Elder Dragon and a Powered-up monster announced as of this writing.

Returning Elder Dragon Velkhana

Velkhana, first introduced in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, is returning to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak!

Velkhana can unlockable as early as MR10. Watch out for when it comes out for crafting ice-related gear and weapons.

The new Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax has been announced and will be unlockable at MR160.

New Anomaly Research Content

Raised Anomaly Level Cap

New Anomaly Resarch Content has been revealed! It was shown that the Anomaly Level Cap has been raised to Level 220, with the Risen elder dragons set to appear near the higher levels as well!

Anomaly Quest Guide

New Monsters Added to Anomaly Quests

Risen Kushala Daora, Risen Teostra, Risen Chameleos, and Chaotic Gore Magala as afflicted monsters will be available to hunt in the Anomaly Quests and Investigations at higher levels.

Event Quests will continue to come in when Title Update 4 releases! Expect new unique rewards especially layered armor as, usual. New hunter armor, headpieces, and buddy armor can be seen in the livestream.
