Increased Attack Power When Monster is Poisoned, Paralyzed, or Blighted

In the skill description, it says that your attack power and affinity will be increased. However, this actually does not reflect on your Status if you check (Menu > Items and Equipment > Status) even while attacking a status-affected monster. Instead, it just adds the numbers directly onto your hits while the monster is status-affected.

Only Viable for Poison and Paralysis Builds

It's important to remember that the only way hunters can proc elemental blights are through Beetle endemic life (Firebeetle, Mudbeetle, Snowbeetle, Thunderbeetle). So Foray will only be reliable on Poison and Paralysis builds.

Even then, it's quite difficult to proc Poison and Paralysis. Besides your own weapon, you will need your Buddies to have weapons that can proc these as well, then invest in Paralysis Attack and Poison Attack skills and decorations. Then after that you still have to factor in hunt times and monster resistances.

So it is important to note that it's quite troublesome and expensive to make this skill work!
