Help Tails collect the 200 Gold Rings that Sonic lost in Shrine Ruins. Much like the Rising Sun!? event quest during the Okami collab, these Rings are not that hard to find.
Getting an S rating in this quest unlocks the Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles figurines. You can view these additional rewards in Your Room at Kamura Village.

Buddy Rings are used to forge the layered armors in the Buddy Smithy's Special tab. Using this you should be able to make the Sonic Costume and the Canyne Tails set.
You only need to forge one part of the Sonic Costume for a full set. Either forge the Sonic Costume Head or the Sonic Costume Body to have the full set.
You will need at least four (4) Buddy Rings and two (2) Fur Scraps to make this set.
Sonic Costume Layered Armor for Palico
Unlike the Sonic Costume, you will need to forge each part of the Canyne Tails set. Each part only needs two (2) Buddy Rings and one (1) Fur Scrap.
Canyne Tails Layered Armor for Palamute
Beating the quest as fast as you can yields these cool figurines as unlocked rewards!

Hi, Anon! Getting an S+ for the first time will unlock the 3 figurines (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) but you don't really have to aim for S+. Getting an S would be enough to unlock them all.
