Blood Awakening activates when healing a total of at least 50 HP through Blood Rite or Bloodblight. This skill also works even if you're at full HP, so you don't need to drain your health to take advantage of the buffs. Based on our testing, Status is unaffected by this skill.
You'll be prompted with a notification when the first effect activates. This bonus lasts for around 30 seconds, and resets for another 30 seconds with the bigger boosts once you heal a total of 150 HP within this time. After either bonus expires, you'll need to heal up by attacking again to restore the boosts.

| Blood Rite | This skill is practically necessary to activate Blood Awakening consistently. Blood Rite also gives you the option to heal up when fighting anything besides Malzeno or afflicted monsters. |
| Partbreaker | Partbreaker can be equipped so you can have Blood Rite work as soon as possible. The Primordial Greaves already have these at max level. |
| Recovery Up | This skill improves the healing from Blood Rite, allowing Blood Awakening to reach its full potential more easily. |
| Bloody Heart | This rampage decoration skill also boosts attack and element, but only when recovering health from Bloodblight. |
Blood Awakening revolves around healing with Blood Rite or Bloodblight, so skills that make it easier to break parts and boost healing are ideal. Primordial Malzeno weapons are also a good pairing for this skill, as they have increased healing over other weapons.
