Free Title Update 1 Release Date and Monsters
Upcoming Free Title Update 1 Monsters | |
---|---|
Lucent Nargacuga | Seething Bazelgeuse |
Gold Rathian | Silver Rathalos |
Four monsters are confirmed to ship with Free Title Update 1. Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos are slated to release alongside Lucent Nargacuga and Seething Bazelgeuse. Players can expect them at the upcoming new biome: Forlorn Arena.
Qurious Crafting is arguably the biggest thing to expect from this digital event. Players can soon augment their weapons and armor further by using specific Afflicted Materials on them through Qurious Crafting. This is an endgame feature that is similar to Weapon and Armor Augments in Monster Hunter World, but taken up a notch as the upgrade choices seem to be more impactful — Capcom has revealed that you can even add more skills to armor pieces!

New afflicted monsters are added like Lunagaron and Magma Almudron. A5 Anomaly Quests can only be unlocked via Anomaly Investigations.
Sunbreak Anomaly Quest Guide
In order to unlock A5★ Anomaly Quests, you will first have to do Anomaly Investigations and level up separate quests wherein you will have to fight different Afflicted Monsters.
The Anomaly Research Lab will be opened by Bahari, where you can exchange your Afflicted Materials to get Investigation Coins, which you can then use to buy items from the lab (listed below).
