This article shows the different aspects of Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) that are irreversible and cannot be changed later in the game. Read on to learn about Character Appearance permanence, Buddy Appearance settings, and more!
There are some features a Hunter has that are irreversible but there are also some that can be changed. You can change your appearance by going to your Item Box and choosing Appearance Settings. Once there, pick the Change Appearance option and then customize it to your heart's content. You also have the option to change the pigment of your armor in the Appearance Settings.

You cannot change your name once you have chosen it, so choose your hunter name carefully!
Once they are set, the features of your buddy can no longer be changed. you can only change the color of their inner clothing. You can do so by going to the Buddy Board and picking Appearance Settings. From there, you can choose to either change the color of their inner clothing or the pigmentation of their armor.

Buddy names can still be changed in the Buddy Plaza! Be sure to talk to Buddy Handler Iori about changing the name of your buddies. He can be found relaxing under a tree in the Buddy Plaza, playing with his buddies.
If you played the demo, you are eligible to receive rewards when you purchase the full game later on. Take note that the demo version cannot be downloaded anymore after February 1.
If you delete your demo save data, you are not eligible for demo rewards. Be careful not to delete them accidentally or intentionally.
