Chances are Monster Hunter Rise is having trouble functioning if your GPU driver is outdated, so you can also try updating your GPU drivers.
This may lighten the time it takes for Monster Hunter Rise to load shaders.
You can also try reverting back to a clean slate by uninstalling Monster Hunter Rise, restarting your PC, and reinstalling the game.
1 | Navigate to your Steam library and locate Monster Hunter Rise. |
---|---|

Upon turning on your computer and opening Monster Hunter Rise for the first time, the game will take some time to load all of the necessary shaders to make the game look presentable.
Shaders are responsible for making a game look pretty and pleasing by adjusting the levels of rendering, light, and color of the game.
Monster Hunter Rise isn't as graphically-groundbreaking like other games, but the game's visual elements still needs to be loaded every time you boot it up.
