This is a guide to armor pigments, an armor cosmetic feature in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) for the Nintendo Switch. Learn how to change your Armor's color, how to unlock the armor pigment feature, and which armor's color can be changed.
List of Contents
The Armor Pigment option is under the appearance section on the Item Box. This can be done on any Item Boxes in the village.
You can choose the color of your armor's customizable color part from the default color patterns on the right side of the screen. After choosing a color, simply exit the menu then choose to apply when prompted if you want to apply the color changes to your armor.
If you don't like any of the preset colors found within their selection, you can modify them on your own. Once modified, you can save your custom palette for future use.
HR 4 is a minimum requirement to unlock the armor pigment option. HR 4 is also the milestone to reach the High Rank quests in Monster Hunter Rise. From here, there will be several harder quests and several new items to get to craft stronger gear!
LR Kamura Armour's pigment unchangeable.

Give us the ability to change our layered armor display. What I mean is, ya know how armor looks different on the male and female models? well, I wish there was the ability to change the appearance from the male models of armor, to the female models, and the reverse without changing the gender of your character itself. This would be really nice, as imo some armor pieces look better as the male model version.
