Sunbreak Endgame Guide: What to Do After Beating the Game
Two new melding methods, named Qurious Melding - Vigor and Qurious Melding - Cyclus have been added with Free Title Update 5. Vigor requires afflicted materials and can create Talismans with previously unrollable skills like Dereliction, Berserk, and Frenzied Bloodlust. Cyclus requires Talismans with the Qurio icon, but you can choose one of the skills for the resulting Talismans.

Defeat Thunder Serpent Narwa in the ★7 Hub quest Serpent Goddess of Thunder |
The Melding Pot is unlocked upon reaching ★5 in the Village Quests or ★3 in the Hub Quests.
At first, only the Reflecting Pool method is available, but additional methods are added while proceeding through the Hub Quests ranks.
Talismans can be purchased from Kagero the Merchant at the Steelworks and the Guild Store Merchant in the Gathering Hub in Kamura. In the Sunbreak DLC, Oboro the Merchant fulfills the same task in Elgado Outpost.
At the Melding Pot, you will be able to create new Talismans from Monster Parts or older Talismans!
The Talismans you have crafted will be melded after a single non-expedition quest. Only 1 batch of Talismans will be completed per quest!
Talismans will be melded even if you fail a quest, so it's possible to farm Talismans quickly by purposefully failing hunts like in the Arena.
Some of the fastest ways for completing melds is purposely carting from High Rank Rajang in the base game's Arena Quests, and Furious Rajang from an Arena Quest in Sunbreak.
To take Talismans, just to any of the merchants, then go to Melding Pot → Take talismans.
Those with the Sunbreak DLC and who have reached Master Rank can collect MP Accelerant from the Argosy by using Backroom Deals or by exchanging them at the Anomaly Research Lab.
Using an MP Accelerant will allow you to instantly acquire crafted Talismans, without having to take on a Quest, making farming them much easier.
MP Accelerant Location: How to Get and Uses
Each material gives different points depending on the monster's rank and parts. Materials like Arzuros pelts, for example, will have lesser quality than materials obtained from enemies like Magnamalo.
Rarer materials, like the Rathalos Mantle, will significantly give more points than a Rathalos Shard. Keep an eye out for the material's value or rarity, as well as the number of materials owned while choosing!
Try to combine different materials to get the exact value needed for melding. Any value above the required points will not be refunded!
As you earn enough Friend Points from completing Join Requests or finishing quests in multiplayer with other hunters, you can be rewarded valuable items such as Dusts of Life.
If you participate in a lot of multiplayer sessions, you will want to look out for Friend Vouchers. These vouchers are valued at 40 points for melding.

40 | Rewarded from earning enough Friend Points in multiplayer. |
Sunbreak Co-op Multiplayer Guide
In the Sunbreak DLC, players can collect Melding Pudding from the Argosy by using Backroom Deals, which can be used in place of Monster Materials and for a high number of points. They can also be exchanged at the Anomaly Research Lab.
Save up your Melding Items and don't spend them until you've unlocked the Anima Method for best results!

Talisman Farming:
How to Meld the Best Talismans
When aiming for skills, it is great to keep an eye out for skills that can be generally used by multiple weapons. A versatile talisman that you can use in making any build is great to have.
Some talismans have skills specific to a weapon like Rapid Morph (Switch Axe and Charge Blade) and Ammo Up (Bowguns). This can be saved can be saved for later when you are not using those weapons at present.
Once you have settled on a certain play style and build in the endgame, you can start looking for more specific talismans with min-maxing in mind.
We suggest looking out for the following skills in the table below. If you are grinding hard, aim for having a skill fixed at a high level like Attack Boost Lv. 3 or Critical Eye Lv. 3.

Wisp of Mystery is the melding method you will always use that unlocks after defeating Thunder Serpent Narwa. This melding method requires High Rank monster materials only to meld different talismans.
You can't choose any skills from a skill list nor does it have success rates for skills but it rolls across most skills and multi-slotted Talismans are more likely to show up here!
You can get up to five (5) Talismans per order, each costing 150 points of Monster Materials plus 100 Kamura Points.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Rebirth is a melding method that unlocks after defeating the Final Boss of the Base Game. This melding method requires older Talismans to meld new talismans.
Like Wisp of Mystery, you cannot select the skills to meld for. It rolls across all the skills.
By spending 20 Talismans plus 500 Kamura Points, Rebirth will yield three (3) Talismans per order, with no lower number permitted.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Anima is the replacement for Wisp of Mystery unlocked after defeating the Final Boss of Sunbreak. This melding method requires Master Rank monster materials only to meld different talismans.
Like the Wisp of Mystery, it rolls across several skills. While High Rank Melding Methods cap out at Rarity 7, Anima only melds Talismans from Rarity 8 to 10.
You can get up to five (5) Talismans per order, each costing 200 points of Monster Materials plus 200 Kamura Points.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Rebirth is also unlocked after completing the main story of Sunbreak, and serves as the replacement for the Rebirth method, similarly rolling across all the skills.
Talismans must be Rarity 8 or greater to use, meaning that only Talismans created via the Anima method will work.
By spending 10 Talismans plus 1000 Kamura Points, Reincarnation will yield three (3) Talismans per order, with no lower number permitted.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Aurora is a melding method unlocked after completing the main story of Sunbreak and beating Chaotic Gore Magala. This method makes use of Master Rank monster materials to meld different talismans.
Unlike other melding methods, the Aurora method guarantees the presence of one (1) skill you specify in the creation of a talisman (meaning that the skill you choose for melding will have a Skill Earning Rate of 100%).
For example, if you specify Attack Boost for melding three talismans, there will be a guaranteed Attack Boost skill when you come back to pick up each melded talisman.
This is recommended if you are aiming to roll for talismans with one skill already secured.
You can create up to three (3) Talismans per order by spending 200 Kamura Points.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Vigor is one of the two Qurious Melding methods unlocked after clearing Amatsu's urgent quest. This melding requires afflicted materials gained from Anomaly Investigations and Quests.
This melding method is quite powerful as it has a high chance of giving skills with several levels and plenty of good decoration slots. It's also unique as most previously unobtainable skills can now be rolled, even including Dereliction and Berserk, which are not accessible through Qurious Armor Crafting.
You can get up to five (5) Talismans per order, each costing 40 points of afflicted materials plus 300 Kamura Points.
▲ Back to Melding Method Directory ▲
Cyclus is the other Qurious Melding method unlocked after beating Amatsu. It can be thought of as the counterpart of Reincarnation for Qurious Melding as it requires using Talismans created with Vigor or Cyclus.
It also has the same skill guarantee of Aurora melding, this time with a larger pool of skills to pick from, including Dragonheart, Sneak Attack, and Element Exploit. These also tend to give better slots and skill levels compared to Aurora melding.
It requires 10 Qurious Talismans and 1200 Kamura points to yield three (3) Qurious Talismans per order.
