List of Affected Abnormal Statuses and Elemental Blights

Fireblight Waterblight Thunderblight
Iceblight Dragonblight Poison
Blastblight Hellfireblight Leech
Resistance Down Defense Down Bubbleblight
Bleed

You can cure abnormal statuses and elemental blights such as Poison and Fireblight with Quick Breath. On the other hand, abnormal statuses like Paralysis and Sleep cannot be removed with Quick Breath.

Bloodblight and Frenzy Can't Be Removed

Bloodblight and Frenzy cannot be removed with Quick Breath. However, you can still reduce the Frenzy gauge with Nulberries before it becomes full.

Status Boost, Abnormal Status, and Elemental Blight Guide

Regain HP Whenever You Remove a Status and/or Blight

Original HP MH Rise Sunbreak - Quick Breath: Original HP
1 Status/Blight MH Rise Sunbreak - Quick Breath: HP Recovered (1 Status Cleared)
1 Status/Blight (Recovery Up Lv. 3) MH Rise Sunbreak - Quick Breath: HP Recovered (Recovery Up Lvl 3 and 1 Status Cleared)
2 Status/Blight MH Rise Sunbreak - Quick Breath: HP Recovered (2 Statuses Cleared)

You regain double amount of HP when you remove two statuses/blights with Quick Breath instead of just one status/blight. So this skill is useful against monsters that inflict a lot of statuses/blights, such as Espinas.

However, please take note that the healing has a cooldown of around 10 seconds.

Good for Frequent Switch Skill Swapping

If you're expecting to Switch Skill Swap a lot, whether it's because you have skills related to it or it's just how you play, then Quick Breath will be a good skill. It synergizes well with Redirection, as well as with the Easy-Breezy dango. These will make your Switch Skill Swaps more powerful.

Good to Keep Your Weapons Out

Weapons that don't want to sheathe often for whatever reason, like Lance, Gunlance, and Heavy Bowgun, might make more use out of this skill as well.
