Skill Effect
Grants protection from large monsters' roars.
Level Effect by Level
1 Reduces the effects of weak monster roars.
2 Nullifies weak monster roars.
3 Nullifies weak monster roars and reduces the effects of strong monster roars.
4 Nullifies weak and strong monster roars.
5 Nullifies weak and strong monster roars. Reduces the effects of powerful monster roars.

Can You Roll Earplugs via Qurious Armor Crafting?

YES. Earplugs can be obtained as an extra skill on your armor when you try rolling for skills via Qurious Armor Crafting.

Best Armor Augments and Armor Recommendations

Does not negate damaging roars

Roars that deal damage to you are not negated. If you get hit by the Magnamalo's roar's explosion or if you are too near a Tigrex's roar, you will still get damaged. Know your target monster and decide if getting Earplugs is worth it or not.
