Capcom announced a Capcom Showcase scheduled for June 13, 2022, which focuses on the content in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise): Sunbreak! Read on to know more about the monsters revealed during the event, as well as the two new maps, and the start date of the Sunbreak demo.
List of Contents
This trailer revealed all the new monsters coming for us in Sunbreak: Espinas, Gore Magala, Daimyo Hermitaur, Pyre Rakna-Kadaki, and Lucent Nargacuga (in a free title update). They also revealed two new maps: Jungle and Forlorn Arena.
This trailer showed us when the Sunbreak demo is coming out, as well as all the quests we get to take on!
A Demo for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has been confirmed for both Nintendo Switch and Steam players, to be released at June 14, 7PM PDT and June 15, 3AM BST. The Demo allows players to hunt Malzeno and Astalos for the first time, and allows players to use the new Switch Skill Swap feature with all the new Silkbind Attacks and Switch Skills that have been introduced.
Four Quests will be included in the demo, each of which will allow hunters to fight a different Monster.
|Start Time||June 15th, 2:00 AM GMT|
The exact Release Time for the Demo has been confirmed in a tweet by the official Monster Hunter twitter. As a worldwide release, the demo will be released simultaneously around the world, with the time varying depending on the time zone of the player's region.
|Location||Expected Release Time|
|US West Coast||June 14, 7:00 PM|
|US East Coast||June 14, 10:00 PM|
|United Kingdom||June 15, 3:00 AM|
|Japan||June 15, 11:00 AM|
|Australia East Coast||June 15, 12:00 PM|
Are you ready to face the thorn at your side? Espinas is joining us in MH Rise Sunbreak!
One of the most iconic monsters in the entire Monster Hunter series returns! We can't wait to see how Gore Magala is like in the field in HD graphics.
You ready with some butter, hunters? As expected because of Shogun Ceanataur's reveal, Daimyo Hermitaur showed up!
They came out with a subspecies for one of the new monsters in MH Rise: Pyre Rakna-Kadaki. We imagine this one hurts a lot more than the regular Rakna-Kadaki!
Then the last reveal was another subspecies, Lucent Nargacuga, swooping in for Sunbreak's very first title update. It appeared with a new map, Forlorn Arena, in tow.
So we're not only getting the Citadel in Sunbreak, we're also getting an entirely different locale called Jungle! This should be familiar to Monster Hunter Rise veterans.
Along with Lucent Nargacuga, they revealed a new map called Forlorn Arena, set to be released in August 2022 with the first Free Title Update! Rather than a whole locale, this is going to be like the Infernal Springs map where special fights take place.
The Capcom Showcase is a part of Summer Game Fest 2022 and aired on June 13, 2022, at 3 PM PT! The livestream ran for 35 minutes, so there's a lot to look forward to.
