Best Armor Augments and Armor Recommendations

Get Extra Wirebug After Clearing Frenzy

Activating Frenzied Bloodlust gives you an extra Wirebug after overcoming Frenzy. The duration of the extra Wirebug depends on the level of the skill.

Sheathing Weapon Removes Effect

Sheathing your weapon will rapidly decrease the duration of Frenzied Bloodlust's effects and will disappear after three seconds, so it is highly recommended to avoid sheathing to maximize the uptime of the skill's effects.

The Long Sword's Special Sheathe and Sacred Sheathe are the known exceptions to this rule. No need to worry about losing the extra Wirebug immediately in this case!

Sheathing your weapon is necessary to access any items. Because of this, using any items will trigger the duration decrease while the skill is active. Make sure to pick a good time to use your items whenever Frenzied Bloodlust is active!

Get Up to Four Wirebugs

With this skill active, you can have a maximum of four Wirebugs in your kit for a limited amount of time if you have picked up another Wirebug from the field.

Do note that it is highly recommended to pick up an extra Wirebug from the field first before attacking your target to activate Frenzied Bloodlust. This is because you need to sheath your weapon to grab the Wirebug, which is not advisable when Frenzied Bloodlust is already active.

Synergizes Well With Other Wirebug Skills

Skills Explanation
Wirebug Whisperer Extends the time you can keep a Wirebug, Wirefall recovery rate, and passive recovery rate on the ground.
Wind Mantle Improves Wirebug recovery speed for a period of time after using a silkbind attack.
Wirebug Wrangler Extends the time you can keep a Wirebug by 30 seconds.

Frenzied Bloodlust combines well with other skills which improve Wirebug usage. Having Wirebug Whisperer and the Rampage Skill Wirebug Wrangler extends the duration of the extra Wirebug you can get from the map, which gives you more time to keep four Wirebugs at once.

Equipping Wind Mantle speeds up the recovery of all of your Wirebugs, including the one from Frenzied Bloodlust. This guarantees that you will almost always have at least one Wirebug ready whenever you use one to dodge or to do a Silkbind Attack.

Skills Which Extend Wirebug Duration Do Not Affect Frenzied Bloodlust's Wirebug

The Wirebug duration extension effects from Wirebug Whisperer and Wirebug Wrangler do not affect the duration of the Wirebug from Frenzied Bloodlust.

The latter's duration will always depend on the skill level you currently have, and cannot be extended by any other skills.
