Free Title Update 4 for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is out now! It released at 12:00AM UTC for the Nintendo Switch and Steam!
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's flagship monster, Velkhana, makes its chilling return to Sunbreak! Its spiky tail and icy breath will sure freeze hunters on their tracks, old and new.
The next Elder Dragon to conquer the threat of the qurios is the Crimson Glow Valstrax, elevating into it's Risen State. As with any Risen Elder Dragons, it sports powered-up moves that could potentially cart hunters who are not careful. Keep on your toes!

Weakness and Drops
In addition to raising the anomaly slots cap by 1, adding slots will now come with a bonus stat boost. This would definitely increase the Hunter's firepower!

Upgrade Materials and Bonus Effects
Free Title Update 4 increased the Anomaly Investigation Level Cap to 220. The update also added Risen Elder Dragons in Anomaly Investigations. They will start to show up at Anomaly Level 111!
Chaotic Gore Magala will have its afflicted version appear on A8★ Anomaly Quests. As with any afflicted monsters, it is assumed to have much higher health than its normal counterpart and will reward hunters with new Afflicted Materials.
New Dual Threat event quests will come to Sunbreak in Title Update 4! Hunters will be pitted against monsters such as two Lunagarons, a Furious Rajang and a Scorned Magnamalo, and a Seething Bazelgeuse and a Chaotic Gore Magala.

New layered armor DLC for your hunter and buddies is available in the title update. New hunter voices, as well as gestures, poses, stickers, and BGMs is also available, so don't miss out on these!
Sunbreak Downloadable Content and Prices
Hunter Loadout is a new feature where you can automatically set a single loadout for items, equipment, and layered equipment - yes, ALL THREE!
You need to have individual loadouts for Items, Equipment, and Layered Equipment though but this still significantly makes preparation much faster & easier!
From Free Title Update 4, Anomaly Research Requests are adjusted.
Research Request conditions can be cleared simply by finishing a quest of a specific level & slaying a specific monster is now only a bonus. This makes farming Investigation Coins faster!
In addition to what was reworked above, lower quest level conditions needed to complete the research request also appears more often. This ensures that more often than not, Hunters fulfill the requirements imposed by the research request.
