This is a guide to the Focus Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise). Learn what the Focus Skill does at each level, and which Armor and Decorations have this Skill.

Focus Effects

Effects at Each Level

Skill Effect
Increases the fill rate for weapons with gauges and the charge rate for weapons with charge attacks.
Level Effect by Level
1 5% faster gauge fill rate and 5% faster charge times.
2 10% faster gauge fill rate and 10% faster charge times.
3 20% faster gauge fill rate and 15% faster charge times.

About Focus's Speed Increases

At the time of writing, we have confirmed that Focus applies to the gauge fill and charge rates of Greatswords, Hammers, Gunlances, Bows, and Heavy Bowguns. There is a high chance that Lances and Sword and Shields are affected.

Does this also speed up the recharge of special ammo for HBG? The sped up passive gauge part of the description is annoyingly vague

      Player list provides all of their equipment information. But honestly that doesn't really matter mid hunt. Don't add DPS trackers. It gets really annoying hunting with someone thats just shouting out the damage numbers all hunt
