List of Contents
Update 10.0 is available for download now on Nintendo Switch! The PC update is expected to arrive tomorrow before Sunbreak's release time at midnight US eastern time. So far, only the Japanese twitter has confirmed the release so it's possible that it is still limited to certain regions. Please let us know in the comments if you're having trouble downloading the update.

PC (Steam) | June 30, 2022 |
Even though the update releases earlier on Nintendo Switch, the Sunbreak-exclusive content will remain exclusive. Things like the weapon balance changes, high rank Defender weapons, and Black Belt S armor set are the only updates currently accessible.
High Rank Defender Weapons Trees have been extended. These weapons are known for having decent sharpness and attack, with some imbued with Blast as well. New players who are catching up can pretty much prepare for the Sunbreak Expansion with just these weapons alone.
The Black Belt Armor Set will also be getting a High Rank version to help hunters catch up to the Sunbreak Expansion. Considering the low rank version's skills, we can expect Black Belt Armor S to host a comfortable blend of survivability and damage through skills such as Attack Boost, Earplugs, Recovery Up as well.
Black Belt Armor Set Skills and Forging Materials (Low Rank)
The new title update will feature multiple weapon balance changes that will affect all players. In addition, even those without Sunbreak will continue to receive free item packs and character edit vouchers following this update.
As with previous updates, downloading it will be required for online play. Be sure to check our Tier List after the update for all the changes from the new weapon balance changes!
Weapon Changes and Balance Predictions
A windfall of free bonuses are available from the Courier in Steelworks after downloading the 10.0 update. These include a bonus for playing the Sunbreak Demo, new layered armor based on the new Elgado Outpost hub, and more.
