Australia and New Zealand: Sunbreak Amiibo Release Delayed

The release of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak amiibo in Australia and New Zealand has been delayed to September 2022.

The Felyne Malzeno, Canyne Melzeno, and Malzeno amiibos were originally scheduled to be sold on June 30, 2022 along with the release of the Sunbreak expansion.

This means that players from Australia and New Zealand need to wait for about a month to use the Layered Armor that can be obtained by scanning the amiibos on their Nintendo Switch.

MHRise Sunbreak - Japanese Sunbreak Campaign
The limited edition platinum and metallic red versions of the sunbreak amiibos can be obtained by participating in the Sunbreak giveaways. This is only available in Japan.

The giveaway starts at June 15, 2022 and ends on June 29, 2022 at 13:00 GMT+9.

MH Rise - Amiibo Lottery in Market with Kagero

The Market offers an in-game lottery for players that they can access once a day per Amiibo. So to maximize the rewards, you need to scan three different Amiibo every day.

It is currently unknown if the Lottery Rewards pool is the same as the previous Amiibo. Once we do find out which rewards are available, we will update this page!

To initiate scanning of Amiibo in-game, you have to talk to Kagero the Merchant, and choose Read Amiibo. You can claim the bonus Layered Armor per Amiibo here as well as participate in the daily Amiibo lottery!
