Disables damage reactions when you hit a friend or when a friend hits you. (Does not apply during certain status ailments.)

Can You Roll Shock Absorber via Qurious Armor Crafting?

NO. Shock Absorber is not obtainable as an extra skill on your armor when you try rolling for skills via Qurious Armor Crafting.

MH Rise Sunbreak - Shock Absorber Effect

Shock Absorber protecting player from Hammer's upswing launch.

Having Shock Absorber will protect you or your teammates from getting hit by weapon attacks, making it a great, if not better, alternative to Flinch Free!

This will make you immune from flinching, tripping, or getting launched by weapon attacks from your allies. The skill also removes possible knockbacks from your attacks, allowing you to go ham without major repercussions!

Effect is Removed If Player Hit has Status Ailment

If the player with Shock Absorber equipped is stunned, paralyzed, or is falling asleep, the skill's effect is temporarily removed as other players can hit the affected hunter to recover mobility.

Shock Absorber however does not protect your teammates from being affected with status effects caused by you.

This means that using Sleeptoads, Blastoads, and the like will still affect you and your team if caught.
