According to Monster Hunter Rise's eShop page, the game is compatible in Handheld mode. If this is the case, then the Nintendo Switch Lite can run Monster Hunter Rise!

One of the advantages of using a Nintendo Switch Lite is its portability. You can take it outside more easily because it is smaller than the normal Nintendo Switch!
The Nintendo Switch Lite is around $100 cheaper than the Nintendo Switch. If you want to play Monster Hunter Rise with as little expense as possible, you may want to consider the Nintendo Switch Lite.
Controls are quite difficult to use.
The screen is small.

Compared to the normal Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite has a smaller screen. For some, this could be a detriment considering how Monster Hunter games require environmental awareness. Some settings can be tweaked for this one though to improve your overall experience.
