Capcom hosted a digital event livestream for Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise): Sunbreak on April 19, 2023. The livestream contained information on Free Title Update 5 including the release date, new monsters, features, event quests, DLC, and more!

The new roadmap has revealed a Variant Monster is set to appear in June 2023 as a Bonus Update. It's also notable as it will be the last additional monster for Sunbreak.
Sunbreak Free Title Updates & Roadmap
Amatsu has been revealed as the Elder Dragon returning from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and Generations. It unlocks at MR 10 and comes with new armor, weapons, and buddy equipment.
Another Risen Elder Dragon has been announced. This time, Risen Shagaru Magala will be added and will be unlockable at MR 180. Expect new Risen armor to be craftable when it comes out, too!
Risen Shagaru Magala: Basic Information
The Anomaly Research has approached the endgame! The Anomaly Level Cap has been raised to Level 300, featuring Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax and Risen Shagaru Magala as additional A9★ monsters in Anomaly Investigations. Expect more afflicted materials for use in even stronger decorations and weapon augments!
Anomaly Investigations Guide: All New Features
Special Investigations are a new feature for Anomaly Research Quests. These are rewarded to players only once when you complete a Lv 300 investigation. These are extremely difficult quests and don't have notable rewards, but beat enough of these and you'll get to show off a special Badge of Heroes!
Two new melding methods using afflicted materials, known as Vigor and Cyclus, will be added in Title Update 5. The livestream showed previously unobtainable skills like Furious can now be rolled with these methods!
Sunbreak Talisman Farming and Best Melding Pot Methods
Another set of Event Quests are coming with Title Update 5! As usual, expect more rewards like layered armor and buddy equipment, as can be seen in the livestream.
Free Title Update 5 also brings back the much awaited Buff Body layered armor set! Look forward to the coming weeks after the new Title Update drops.
