This is an article on Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) for PC (Steam). Wondering if and when Monster Hunter Rise port is coming to PC and Steam? Keep an eye on this page for all announcements regarding the 2022 PC and Steam release date of Monster Hunter Rise, its possible crossplay and cross-save support, and its PC specs and requirements.
List of Contents
It's official! Monster Hunter Rise won't be a Switch exclusive anymore. According to the official website, Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC this early 2022 on Steam. The specific release date is yet to be announced.
However, they did mention that there will be a different product lineup for the PC release. The Switch version came out on March 26, 2021, so if you cannot wait any more, Switch is the way to go!
Based on Monster Hunter World's PC lack of cross-play and cross-save from its PC release, it is also unlikely that there will be any cross-platform multiplayer support for Monster Hunter Rise on PC.
Cross saves also were not possible in Monster Hunter World, so be prepared to start a new save file if you're planning to get both versions.
Despite the expectation of a graphical update to the RE engine on PC, Capcom has yet to release any information regarding minimum or recommended PC specs or a benchmark for the PC release of Monster Hunter Rise.
We will update this article as soon as we have details on the specs!

It may be possible that we would get the same system requirements from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for the Monster Hunter Rise PC version. We will get back to you as soon as an update about the Monster Hunter Rise PC release are out!
While Monster Hunter Rise runs beautifully on the Switch, it's plain to see that its graphics aren't up to par with other PC games. So when the PC version arrives on Steam, it will probably come with a free graphics update!
This was the case for Monster Hunter World with the release of the High-Resolution Texture Pack (made available as a separate download on Steam), so expect the same for Monster Hunter Rise.

Give us the ability to change our layered armor display. What I mean is, ya know how armor looks different on the male and female models? well, I wish there was the ability to change the appearance from the male models of armor, to the female models, and the reverse without changing the gender of your character itself. This would be really nice, as imo some armor pieces look better as the male model version.
