According to the Monster Hunter Rise official website, all content since the Nintendo Switch release from March 2021 until the November 2021 update will be available for the PC (Steam) version of MH Rise.
This could also mean that we will not be getting any substantial update until the January 12th, 2022 PC release or even until Summer of 2022, when the Sunbreak expansion is released.
The Monster Hunter Rise official website confirmed that the PC (Steam) version will not support cross-play and cross-save from other platforms. So if you are hoping to migrate your Nintendo Switch save file to PC, you might want to consider starting over with a new save file in the PC version.
Cross-saves were also not possible in Monster Hunter World, so this news has always been expected.
In a tweet on October 12, 2021, the Monster Hunter Rise team finally addressed the Rathalos in the room regarding cross-play and cross-save for the game.
Unfortunately, cross-save and cross-play will not happen any time soon after looking into the development process.

Give us the ability to change our layered armor display. What I mean is, ya know how armor looks different on the male and female models? well, I wish there was the ability to change the appearance from the male models of armor, to the female models, and the reverse without changing the gender of your character itself. This would be really nice, as imo some armor pieces look better as the male model version.
