What are Switch Skills?

Silkbind and Regular Attack Switching

MH Rise - Switch Skills

Switch Skills is a new mechanic introduced in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) that allows you to customize your Hunter's silkbind attacks and regular attacks. These can be changed on the fly, even mid-hunt!

Switch Skills that can be switched out includes two (2) regular moves and one (1) Silkbind Attack. Use these to your advantage when out on hunts!

Two Regular Moves Can Be Switched

MH Rise Regular Move Switch Skill

You can switch out two (2) regular moves per weapon. Switching regular moves can drastically change your playstyle because of the combo changes so keep this in mind!

Only One Silkbind Attack Can Be Switched

MH Rise - Silkbind Switch Skill

For Silkbind Attack switching, only one (1) of the two Silkbind attacks are swappable. You also cannot choose which one to take out - the Switch Skill is set for a certain Silkbind attack.

How to Change Switch Skills

Three Skill Types to Swap In

The game gives you options to swap in three (3) types of skills, each with its own choices - Switch 1 to 3 gives you 2 choices each. This gives the hunter a whopping 8 skill combinations per weapon!

Description
Switch 1 Swap Regular Move 1
Switch 2 Swap Regular Move 2
Switch 3 Swap Silkbind Move

You are given 2 choices of skills to swap per skill type. Skills reserved for Switch Skill Slot 1 will only be swappable to other Switch Slot 1skill and so on. Keep this in mind when you build your combos!
