Sonic the Hedgehog Collaboration

30th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog

MH Rise - Sonic The Hedgehog Collab Event Quest Rewards

It is full on Sonic for you, your Palico and Palamute! Starting November 26, 2021, you can come and get Sonic-themed gear for the entire party, and more, from two event quests: Gotta Hoard Fast and Super Shady Lookalike!

Gotta Hoard Fast Quest

MH Rise - Hunter Collecting Rings during Sonic Collab.png

This event quest's goal is in the name: you'll have to hoard all the golden rings around the map, and fast! You'll get a ton of rewards for your efforts, too.

Sonic Costume Palico Layered Armor

Normal Mode
Super Sonic Mode

A spin dash action lets your Palico blast forward like Sonic does, while feeding it with Felvine Bulbs transforms it into Super Sonic mode!

Sonic Costume Layered Armor

Canyne Tails Palamute Layered Armor

You can also have Tails' outfit for your Palamutes and have them rocking a twin-tailed look while hunting!

Canyne Tails Layered Armor

Figurines as Additional Rewards

You can also get figurines for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles as decoration for your room!

Super Shady Lookalike Event Quest

MH Rise - Super Shady Lookalike Quest

Go toe to toe with a Nargacuga in the Flooded Forest and get your hunter new, Sonic-themed layered armor!

Sonic Wear Layered Armor

MH Rise - Sonic Wear Layered Armor

This layered armor might not provide much change in our hunter's actions or animation sequences, unlike the ones we had with the Street Fighter and Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection collab events. But it might be cool hunting monsters in an athleisure outfit!

Sonic Wear Layered Armor

Will be Available for PC Release Early

The Sonic the Hedgehog collab event will be available as early day one of the PC release this January 12, 2022. PC gamers will have a chance to dress-up their Hunters and Buddies in Sonic fashion as soon as the PC release drops.

Monster Hunter x Sonic Frontiers Collab

The official Sonic the Hedgehog and Monster Hunter Twitter accounts have shared that the upcoming Sonic Frontiers game will have a special collaboration with the Monster Hunter series!

Starting on Novermber 14, 2022, Monster Hunter-related content will be available to download in Sonic Frontiers. These include Monster Hunter-inspired equipment for Sonic and a mini-game.

Sonic Frontiers is set to launch on November 8, 2022.

New Event Quests

More Weekly Event Quests

MH Rise - Update 3.6 Sonic Event Quest Hunt

New event quests, as per usual, will be added every week during the month of December, which more often than not have unique rewards. These are released weekly every Friday, 12AM GMT+00 so stay tuned!

After the last event quest (presumably at the end of December), they might be busy preparing for the PC release, so we might not get any more Switch-exclusive updates until then. Keep your eyes peeled!
