This build is an alternative to our Dragon Conversion sets, which replace it with Heaven-Sent to forego other sharpeness skills and Blood Awakening as another source of elemental damage. It can also be safer to run, especially in hunts against afflicted monsters or those with easily breakable parts due to the boosts gained when healing with attacks. The chosen Insect Glaives are similar to our previous builds for their good element values and decent purple sharpness after adding anomaly slots. However, the Silver Spear takes over the Crimson Springwing thanks to its amazing slots and purple sharpness. Any Kinsect will work with this build, but it is best used with Assist Kinsects for extra damage when using Tetraseal Slash. Powder Kinsects can also perform well for their detonations and potential for extra healing. If you're struggling with the increased stamina usage of Kinsect Supercharge, the anti-species rampage decorations are good alternatives.

Title Update 5 introduces a new Rampage Skill, Kinsect Supercharge, which is an incredible addition to the Insect Glaive, boosting Kinsect damage by about 80%. All other builds can also use this skill to replace the anti-species jewels. Buildup Boost can now be rolled in Vigor melding, opening up options for raw status builds. To round out the update, Heaven-Sent was also added for its infinite sharpness and stamina as long as you don't get knocked over. This skill alone is great for aerial-heavy combat with Kinsect Slash and Diving Wyvern for some serious raw damage. These builds use status Insect Glaives as they can outperform pure raw weapons thanks to Buildup Boost. Although Lv.3 of this skill can be rolled in Vigor melding, Lv.2 should be adequate. The choice between Blast and Poison depends on the monsters, but they should perform similarly in terms of raw damage. If your target monsters have exploitable elemental weaknesses, check out our other elemental sets! The Stratosphere Glaive+ can be used for a Paralysis build by making a few adjustments to the Blast build. However, it has lower damage potential but can be valuable in multiplayer to immobilize monsters.

Also take extra care when fighting with the Red Swap Scroll as your elemental resistances will all be 0. This build makes it possible to max out this skill to synergize with Dragon Conversion, making it much more convenient to amp your elemental damage early in a fight! Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax's armor introduced a new skill called Dragon Conversion. This skill converts elemental resistances you get from attacking with the Blue Swap Scroll to elemental damage when you switch to the Red Swap Scroll. This is a powerful skill to use with elemental builds and for weapons that are able to land hits continuosly. Be sure to start fights with this build with the Blue Swap Scroll first and switch to Red only when the elemental resistance logo appears at the top of your health bar. Also take extra care when fighting with the Red Swap Scroll as your elemental resistances will all be 0. While armor augments are optional, we strongly recommend removing Dragonheart from the braces and replacing it with a better skill, since it can be detrimental to this build.

This build uses Veil Caster for its high Poison stat. Chameleos Blessing, Foray, Buildup Boost, and Poison Attack all work hand-in-hand to ensure the monster stays poisoned for as long as possible while boosting the weapon's base attack and affinity. Master's Touch and Speed Sharpening should also help with managing sharpness. New to this build is Powder Mantle, which causes an explosion to deal more damage.

As this build can already hit 100% on weakpoints of poisoned monsters, we recommend augmenting the weapon with Attack Boost to maximize damage. For the Kinsect, we recommend an Assist-type like Exalted Alucanid or Gleambeetle for even more damage while keeping your triple-up boost for longer with the Boosted Powder Extract.

This alternative to our Poison build puts out higher raw damage in exchange for lower Poison buildup using Aoul al Sadirah's Asterism. Attack Boost, Critical Boost, and Buildup Boost are used to increase overall weapon damage. In addition, Critical Eye, Weakness Exploit, and Bloodlust allow the weapon to have guaranteed critical hits on weak spots. New to this build are the inclusion of Grinder (S) to complement the short white and purple sharpness of the weapon, Protective Polish to manage sharpness, and Powder Mantle to deal additional damage.

To upgrade this build further, we recommend adding the Rampage Slot Upgrade augment to the weapon and then adding Attack Boost augments. Doing this allows the use of Anti-Species Rampage Decorations, such as Anti-Wyvern Jewel 2, which improves the build's overall damage output. Use Assist-type Kinsects like Exalted Alucanid or Gleambeetle for even more damage while taking advantage of Boosted Powder Extract for extending your boosts.

Chaotic Gore Magala weapons are best paired with the Bloodlust + Coalescence skill combination; overcoming the Frenzy virus will instantly boost the weapon's affinity and, with Coalescence, gives a boost to your overall damage. With 4 levels of Agitator, attacking a monster in its Rage Form will ensure 100% affinity on their weakspots. To further boost this damage, we also maxed out Attack Boost, Critical Boost, and Burst.

For defense, we maxed out Defiance to make sure roars, tremors, or wind and dragon winds do not interrupt combos. For comfort, we maxed out Power Prolonger and Protective Polish. The weapon was augmented to have at least a level on Sharpness Boost for it to reach purple sharpness. With the latter skill equipped, this build ensures that you get maximum damage for at least 90 seconds.

This Dereliction Build features the Sunbreak Final Boss's Insect Glaive, the Abyssal Insectoid. To cancel out its negative affinity, we focused on maxing out the Critical Eye skill. With Weakness Exploit and Strife equipped, it is possible to reach 100% affinity on a monster's weakspots. While attacking, be sure to always be on the Blue Scroll to get the damage amp from Dereliction. With other damage boosting skills like Attack Boost, Critical Boost, and Resentment, this build packs a punch; just keep an eye out on that health bar!

Partbreaker makes a good fit for the IG because of the weapon's ability to reach any part of the monster. Max points in Blood Rite keeps you healthy, while Stamina Surge allows you to spam Aerial moves more reliably. A value point in Intrepid Heart provides a safety net for any badly-timed jumps, while Hunger Resistance and Flinch Free ensure that you are spending a majority of your time airborne.

The intended playstyle for this build is to spam Vault into three Kinsect Slashes before finishing the combo with a Diving Wyvern. Try to target the monster parts that you need to farm, or simply aim for the head if you want to do DPS.

This build will work well with any Kinsect, however, the recommended Kinsect for this build is the Carnage Beetle. The Blunt type damage allows it to stun on a rare occasion, and its Dual Color bonus allows the hunter to get fully buffed with just two throws.

Power Prolonger ★★	Extends the duration of Kinsects (from 90 seconds up to 126 seconds at lvl. 3), which improves your overall DPS.
Stamina Surge ★★	Recovers your stamina quickly after a lengthy aerial + Diving Wyvern combo.
Constitution ★★	This skill will let you be in the air longer, amping your Diving Wyvern damage even more.

Hard Blaze Jewel+ 4 and Blaze Jewel 1 for a fire weapon, etc.) If you do not have the Hard Element Jewels yet, they require afflicted materials from Lvl 101+ Anomaly Investigations (please refer to their Decoration pages!)
