How to Beat Crimson Glow Valstrax
Wind Serpent Ibushi is the first of two Elder Dragons encountered in Monster Hunter Rise as of Version 1.1.2. Ibushi will challenge hunters in the new Rampage game mode.
Thunder Serpent Narwa, Ibushi's mate and queen, is the second Elder Dragon encountered in Monster Hunter Rise as of version 1.1.2. Experienced hunters will attempt to quell Narwa's thunderous rage in the final Gathering Hub 7 Star Quest, Serpent Goddess of Thunder.
Chameleos is the first to be announced in a trifecta of Elder Dragons that arrived in the first free title update (Update 2.0) of Monster Hunter Rise last April 28. This dragon's favorite pastime is to turn invisible and steal Spiribird Pollens from hunters! We are looking forward to its return since MHGU!

Kushala Daora arrived in the first free title update (Update 2.0) of Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) last April 28! The chilling winds of Kushala Daora can throw off hunters who dare go near its gusts!

Teostra has arrived together with Chameleos and Kushala Daora in the first free title update (Update 2.0) of Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) last April 28. Be careful of its explosive Supernova Attack that can one-shot hunters caught in its radius.
Challenge this Elder Dragon in the ★7 Quest, The Emperor of Flame once you've reached HR 40!
Amatsumagatsuchi first appeared in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. It is a powerful Elder Dragon with the ability to manipulate storms during its fight. With Ibushi and Narwa being the serpents of Wind and Thunder respectively, it wouldn't be surprising if the Storm Dragon arrives as well!
Shagaru Magala, the fully mature form of the ever-popular Gore Magala, first appeared in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. With its destructive ability to spread the frenzy virus, Shagaru Magala may return as one of the reasons for the frenzy in Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise)!
Pitfall and Shock Traps do not affect Elder Dragons. This is important especially for hunters using Palicoes with Trap Skills as it may be necessary to swap to a different Palico specifically for Elder Dragons.
Depending on the Elder Dragon, status ailments have virtually no effect against them with some being more susceptible. Before any hunt, try checking your Hunter's Notes for details about the Elder Dragon to help you prepare!
