Best Armor Augments and Armor Recommendations
Blood Rite heals you whenever you hit broken parts of monsters. This includes partially broken parts such as Diablos and Rajang horns. While the description states the damage dealt determines the amount healed, it appears that motion values also play a role in how much health is recovered. This means that weapons with powerful attacks such as the Great Sword, Hammer, and Switch Axe tend to see greater healing every time they hit a broken part while weapons with several weaker hits like Dual Blades or multi-hit Bowgun shots recover less health in comparison.
There are many skills that go great with Blood Rite such as Partbreaker, so you can quickly get healing while attacking. Coincidentally, both skills can be found on the Malzeno Armor Set. Blood Rite can also be used with skills that continually drain your health like Dereliction or Bloodlust, so you have to worry less about healing, allowing you to stay aggressive.
▲Values are based on a Lv 3 Charged Slash used on a Gore Magala head dealing 881 damage.
Based on our testing, going from Lv 1 to Lv 2 doubled the healing while going to Lv 3 more than tripled it. The skill also stacks with other recovery skills like Recovery Up. It even stacks with the healing from Bloodblight!
