Managing Assets Walkthrough and Objectives

Main Objectives

  1. Talk to Masako
  2. Travel to the Operative's Location
  3. Deal with the Operative
  4. Return to Dalton at Ryujin Tower

1 - 2. Talk to Masako and Travel to the Operative's Location

Starfield - Managing Assets - Return to Masako
If you did not choose to speak with Benjamin Bayu or told him to “bring it up to Dalton” during Guilty Parties, Masako will ask you to deal with a rival operative at the behest of Mr. Bayu. The location of the target operative may vary from player to player.

3. Deal with the Operative

Starfield - Deal with the Operative

The operative you're assigned to kill is Tomo Higashi, the man who previously attacked you at the coffee shop during the Back to the Grind quest. You can kill Tomo or spare his life by asking him to not show around the settled systems for both of your sakes.

Note that if you killed Tomo during Back to the Grind, the target will be a random 'Rival Operative' which you can also choose to kill or spare.

You Can Extort Tomo for Extra Credits

You can Ask Tomo for Credits twice during your conversation, the first time for 1000 Credits, and the second time for 3000 Credits. Extorting Tomo will yield similar results as sparing his life, only this time you are 4,000 Credits richer.

4. Return to Dalton at Ryujin Tower.

Starfield - Return to Dalton

Report back to Dalton regarding Benjamin Bayu's task and he will reward you with Credits and Digipicks.

The Sabotage quest will be unlocked after this.
