You will be prompted to choose between killing or sparing Livvey during the Mantis quest. Learn about all the available choices, the consequences of each choice, and which choice is best!

Betray me and you'll die. Spare Livvey and he will warn you about the traps and robots after you complete the Puzzle.
[Attack] No deal. Say your prayers. Livvey. Combat will commence. Livvey will start attacking you.
Just get out of here. I don't need you. Livvey will get angry and he will start attacking you.

After making your way through the facility and defeating all the Spacers in the area, you will encounter Livvey. At this point, you can spare him, ask him to leave, or kill him.

Starfield - Should You Kill Livvey Attack
Livvey does not hold the solution to the puzzle ahead, and he will not be able to provide any help or clues. You can choose to kill him and loot his items before proceeding to the next area, where you will encounter the puzzle. Do note that he does not have any special loot and you will never see him again after this quest.

Spell TYRANNIS to Solve the Puzzle

Starfield - Should You Kill Livvey Puzzle
To solve the puzzle ahead, you need to step on the correct letters to spell the word TYRANNIS. Doing so will prevent the turrets from activating at the end of the corridor.

You can find the clue by looking for an Audio Log named Leon Voclain - Sic Semper Tyrannis, which you can obtain from the Spacers you defeat along the way.
