Walking into the Unity in Starfield starts New Game Plus. Read on to learn if you should walk into the light and what happens if you walk away.

Walking into the Unity ・ Lose all your gear and move to the next playthrough
・ Become stronger in your next playthrough
Walking Away ・ You won't lose your gear
・ Continue playing in your current playthrough

Go in the Unity for New Game Plus

Starfield - The Unity

Walking into the Unity will cause your character to be reborn in another universe as a Starborn. This will begin New Game Plus, where you can do the story all over again and receive a powerful ship and spacesuit. However, you will lose all your possessions and relationships, so you must decide if you're fine leaving these behind.

Walk Away to Continue Playthrough

Starfield - Walking Away From The Unity

If you have unfinished business in your current playthrough, you can walk away from the Unity and keep playing in that universe as long as you like.

You can return to the Unity at any time by building the Armillary on your ship again and doing a Grav Jump.
