Outpost Airlock for Functionality
Remember that you cannot enter or exit any of your Habs or Hallways without placing an Outpost Airlock.
This effectively makes the Outpost Airlock the most essential part of any house or base you're trying to build.

Base Building Blocks
Outpost structures are a collection of different buildings that make up the habitable portion of your base. These structure types are made up of different sized rooms and hallways where you would typically place your indoor furniture and workbenches.

How to Get Outpost Structures
Craft Them Using Resources
All modules have a required amount of resources to craft them. Once you've acquired these resources, you can store them in your inventory, with your companion, or on your ship and the game will still consider the crafting conditions met.
Take note that some modules also require power while others have a hard limit on how many of those modules you can craft.
