Players can start the quest if they have finished the First Contact side mission by getting the colonists a grav drive. If you did, then you can talk to Janet Yang on the ECS Constant to help her leave the ship.
If instead you helped the colonists settle on Paradiso, then you can do a similar quest called Debt Forgiveness where you help Janet leave the planet.

If you have recently finished the First Contact quest, then the ECS Constant will still be orbiting around Porrima II on the Porrima Star System.
However, if some time has already passed, then the ship may have jumped to another star system. You will need to look for them by watching out for a ship marker on the map, as indicated on the image above.
Once inside the colony ship, you can find Janet in the Tree Room on the Maintenance Level. You can enter the room by going through the door that has arrows leading to the Medical Bay and the Lift.
When you accept to help Janet leave the ship, she will ask you to talk to Diana, the captain. You can find her in the Command Room or the Captain's Quarters on the Command Level of the ship.
Once you talk to Diana about Janet, she will initially refuse the request. However, you can persuade her to let Janet leave. Make sure to take a Hippolyta before persuading Diana to increase your chances of success.
If you failed to persuade her, or you have a lot of potatoes on hand, then you can just give her 50 Potatoes to accommodate for the loss of food production when Janet leaves.
After you have convinced Diana, you can go back to Janet and let her know the news. She will thank you with various Antique Old Earth items and 50 EXP for helping her out.
