Increase your health in Starfield by ranking up the Wellness Skill, getting the Alien DNA trait, crafting in the Research Laboratory, and eating. Learn more on how you can increase your maximum health and restore HP in this guide.

Consume Food and Drinks

Starfield - Food and Drinks

Increase and restore health by consuming food and drinks. Each food item has different effects like restoring health, increasing oxygen, and even decreasing your HP every few seconds.

Food can be collected while exploring, stolen from enemies, or made at Outposts.

Craft Under Pharmacology

Starfield - Pharmacology Research

It is possible that the Pharmacology category of the research lab contains chem projects, pills, or first aid items that can restore your health, or even temporarily increase maximum HP.

You will need Resources to craft items. So make sure to stock up as much as you can while exploring.
