How to Use Armor Modifier IDs

Use with Console Commands to Instantly Add Armor Modifiers

Command REFID.amod MODID
Example FF00BB78.amod 2C43DA

Armor Modifier IDs are used in the Console Command. This feature is only available on the PC, so you can't get Armor Modifiers with this method if you're playing on the Xbox.

The command for adding Modifiers to armors is different from other Item IDs, and it even requires an additional REFID (which changes every time your armor is dropped). Here's how to open the Console Command and put in your Mod Item IDs:

  1. Drop the armor on the ground
  2. Press the tilde (~) key to open the console
  3. Click on the armor to get REFID / Reference ID
  4. Type in the command and hit enter
  5. Exit the console with the tilde (~) key

Removing Armor Modifiers

If you want to remove the mod you just added to your armor, you can use the "REFID.rmod MODID" command instead.

Great guide but "Skipping Quality Levels will give your equipment lower stats, so modify accordingly!" seems wrong. I went through the levels with a spacesuit and it came out exactly the same as skipping straight to the Superior modifier on the exact same type of spacesuit. When I picked the both up, they stacked in my inventory.

It seems the Chameleon modifier is currently missing from this list?
