Speak to Clover at CeltCorp in Neon

To begin the Hard Luck quest, talk to Clover on the CeltCorp floor of the Trade Tower in Neon and tell her you're willing to help with recovering Mr. Okadigbo's debt. The tower is located at the end of the Neon Core stretch, where the Astral Lounge can also be found.

Hard Luck Walkthrough and Objectives

Main Objectives

  1. Convince Saburo to Take the Loan
  2. Return to Clover

1. Convince Saburo to Take the Loan

Starfield - Convince Saburo to Take the Loan

Go to the Mining League in Neon Core and persuade Saburo to take the loan. You will have to fill up 8 bars of the persuasion meter within 3 turns to successfully convince him.

(Optional) Find Clover's Diary

Starfield - Clover

Clover's diary can be found on a desk in the office area just down the hallway past the reception area. This will be marked by your objective tracker so you can simply follow that to find it.

(Optional) Tell Saburo About Clover's Feelings

Starfield - Show the Diary to Saburo

If you picked up the diary, you can show it to Saburo which will immediately convince him to accept the loan. This is the best option as you'll skip the trouble of having to persuade him.

2. Return to Clover

Starfield - Report Back to Clover

Report back to Clover in CeltCorp and let her know that Saburo agreed to let her pay the debt. This will complete the quest and you'll be rewarded with 100 EXP and credits.
