How to Unlock Combat Slide
Reach Rank 1 of Gymnastics
Players must unlock at least Rank 1 of Gymnastics to unlock the Combat Slide ability. Alongside it, players will also receive permanent reduced fall damage by 15%.
Previous Bethesda games like Fallout and Skyrim did not have a feature like this in their games. More often than not, it is installed as an additional mod for players as an add-on for their gameplay experience.
How to Unlock Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a Tier 2 - Advanced Physical Skill. Unlocking them requires spending 4 Skill Points in the Physical Skill Tree.
When to Combat Slide
Slide While Moving on Foot
Combat Slides can be done at any point while moving on foot. Afterwards, it seems it places the player onto a crouching position after the slide.
The button mechanics to be able to Combat Slide are currently unknown.
Fire Weapon After Sliding
Players can also fire their weapon immediately after Combat Sliding, allowing players to dodge enemy attacks in split seconds.
