| Gunslinger's Guide 01 is resting on a coffee table between two chairs outside of the Marshal's Office inside The Rock. To find it, enter The Rock from the main entrance.
Once inside, take the stairs on the right side to reach a bar area. Take the next set of stairs in front of you and turn right to end up in a long corridor with a set of double doors at the end. Head towards the double doors and turn right at the end of the long hallway to find another set of stairs leading upwarads. Take the stairs to reach a doorway marked Office. Walk through the doorway and look to your right to see a painting above two wooden chairs. Take the doorway to the right of these chairs to find your final set of stairs, with the Gunslinger's Guide 01 waiting for you on the coffee table at the top of these stairs. |

| Gunslinger's Guide 02 is resting on one of the small square tables with two stools near the window inside Sinclair's Books in Midtown of Akila City.
To get there, head to the Coe Monument near The Rock's entrance and take the pathway on the left. Follow the path until you see the Coe Heritage Museum and keep following the dirt path as it curves to the right. You'll eventually reach some downwards-leading stone stairs with Sinclair's Books at the bottom. Head inside and loot the Guide from one of the tables on the right side. |

| Gunslinger's Guide 03 is sitting between two white chairs on the right side of the entrance to the Rangers Building in Hopetown on planet Polvo in the Valo star system.
To reach this skill magazine, simply land in Hopetown and enter the Rangers Building, which is to the right of the main HopeTech structure. As you enter the building, immediately turn right to see the skill magazine between two white chairs. |

| Gunslinger's Guide 04 is resting on a bedside table on the 2nd floor of the Freestar Rangers Outpost in Neon, on planet Volii Alpha, in the Volii star system.
To reach this skill magazine, enter Neon from the spaceport and turn left. Walk ahead and keep an eye out for the Freestar Rangers Outpost on your left, across the street from Neon Tactical. Enter the building and walk through the doors to reach the interiors of the outpost. Once inside, walk past the reception table and the jail cell to find an orange door on the left wall at the end of the short hallway. Go through these doors and up the stairs to find the skill magazine on the right bedside table. |

The Freestar Embassy can only be accessed after progressing through the Friends Like These quest from the UC Vanguard Faction Questline.
You'll get access to the Freestar Embassy once Deputy Macintyre asks you to get the Freestar Collective archival code. After taking the elevator to the Embassy, head straight and go up the stairs. Proceed to the room on the top floor and the skill magazine will be on top of the coffee table. |

| 1 Magazine | Permanently reload and draw Laredo weapons 5% faster. |
| 2-5 Magazines | Permanently reload and draw Laredo weapons an additional 5% faster. (Stacking) |
Collecting certain numbers of Gunslinger's Guides will give you corresponding permanent buffs. These buffs provide bonuses for weapons that are made by Laredo Firearms.
Laredo Firearms Location and Shop Guide
The Laredo Weapons that are affected by the buffs you will receive from collecting Gunslinger's Guides are as follows:
Obtaining Skill Magazines will automatically give you permanent bonus effects based on the number of magazines you've collected in a certain category. Whether you decide to sell or drop the magazine after getting it will not affect the buffs you've received.
Bonus effects from collecting Skill Magazines will remain in your New Game Plus playthrough. This will also allow you to gain new effects after obtaining similar magazines you've gathered in different universes.
After activating all bonus effects, the Skill Magazines will no longer have any bonus descriptions and are only good for selling.
