Head to Heinlein I and Give Her Ship Parts

Starfield - Betty Howser Lucky Lu

To add Betty Howser to your crew, you'll need to head to Heinlein I in the Heinlein star system and dock with her ship, the Lucky Lu. In exchange for her services, she'll want Ship Parts to repair her ship. She'll join after you give these to her.

Note that you must have at least 1 Ship Parts in your inventory to have the option to recruit her. You can find Ship Parts by looting destroyed ships or by purchasing them from some shops.
