The Earth Colony Ship (ECS) Constant is first found as an Unidentified Ship orbiting Porrima II in the Porrima star system. This ship is integral to the First Contact quest and Paradiso, where its fate can be decided by you.

Speak to Earth Colonists

Starfield - ECS Constant Medical Bay

The ECS Constant houses the descendants of the first people who left Earth for space. Since they left prior to learning about the Grav Drive, they believe they're the last survivors, as they have not had contact with anyone in the Settled Systems until you arrived.

You can speak with the colonists to learn their story or talk to Dr. Lorelei Da Costa at the Medical Bay to get you patched up.
