Talk to Nilesh Sherazi Near the MAST Building

Starfield - Nilesh Location

To begin the quest, speak to Nilesh Sherazi near the MAST building of New Atlantis. He can be found sitting on one of the benches by the ramp leading to the transit train.

Main Objectives

1. Plant the Olive Seed

1a. Attempt to Plant the Seed

Starfield - Attempt to Plant the Seed

Approach the soil patch behind Nilesh and interact with it to plant the seed. However, a guard nearby will immediately intervene and prevent you from doing so.

1b. Ask Nilesh for a Distraction

Starfield - Ask Nilesh for a Diversion

Speak to Nilesh and ask him to distract the guard. Wait for him to begin a conversation with the security officer before anything else.

1c. Plant the Seed in the Soil Patch

Starfield - Plant the Seed in the Soil

While the guard is distracted, quickly plant the seed in the soil patch.

(Optional) Hand the Seed Over to the Guard

Starfield - Surrender the Seed to the UC Guard

Talk to the UC security guard and tell him you were asked to plant the seed. He'll then confiscate and dispose of it, saying that littering is a crime. The quest will end there, and you'll receive no rewards for it.

2. Return to Nilesh

Starfield - Return to Nilesh

Once you've planted the seed, speak to Nilesh again to receive your reward of 100 EXP and some credits.
