Charybdis III Planet Location and 100% Survey Guide
Upon entering the enclosed area, you will be met by Tobias. Ada Lovelace will also interfere and welcome you into the community, and tell you to meet with the leaders.
Tobias will also ask you for 150 Copper, but is only a means to earn extra credit, and doing or not doing so will not affect the quest's story.
Head inside the building in the middle of the town, and talk to Franklin Roosevelt, who is also the 32nd President of the United States. He will tell you more about the situation, and will tell you to meet with the two other leaders.
Upon leaving Franklin's lodging, you will be interrupted by Wyatt Earp, one of America's legendary frontiersmen. Amelia Earhart will also be waiting outside Franklin's lodging, whom you can invite as a companion once you finish the Operation Starseed quest.
Head to the stairs to your left, where Queen Amanirenas will be waiting for you. To her side is Ada Lovelace, whom you already spoke with.
If you're unaware of who these Historical Figures are, Queen Amanirenas was the Queen of Kush, famous for pushing back Augustus Caesar's Army. Ada Lovelace, on the other hand is an associate of Charles Babbage, and is considered to be the first computer programmer.
Head just outside the facility walls where you can find Genghis Khan. Once you meet the infamous conqueror, he will ask for your help in defeating several Swarming Gliders. Once all the enemies are defeated, you can talk to Genghis Khan.
Once you get a grasp of the situation, talk to Franklin again where he will point you towards The Facility, where the clones originated from.
Wyatt Earp will interrupt you once again, and will initiate the Secret Lives Side quest.
Secret Lives Rewards and How to Unlock
After talking to Franklin and finishing Secret Lives, head to The Facility which can be found on the other side of the planet.
Upon reaching the facility, you will be met by new and stronger Alien Enemies. Make your way through the now deserted Facility, and pick up the 7 Audio Logs to learn more about the situation.
Towards the end of the Facility, you will find a Level 85 Maggotmaw. Make sure you have enough firepower or stealth to get past this beast, as it can kill players in one hit if not well prepared.
After collecting all 7 Audio Logs, return to the Crucible and give the logs to either FDR, Amanirenas, or Genghis Khan.
Giving the audio logs to any character will not affect the ending, and will only affect their dialogue later during the Meeting with Crucible Leaders.
With your lead from the Facility, talk to Ada Lovelace to discuss how to find the ship where they originated from.
Head to the Bel System, and scan the Navigation Beacon to find out more about the Beagle's destination.
Board you ship and set a course for the Zelazny System. The system is quite far, and requires you to have a Gravjump range of at least 27 Lightyears. We recommend upgrading your Astrodynamics Skill, and using a ship with good upgrades geared towards Gravjumping.
Fight your way through the Robot Enemies and access the Beagle Datacore at the end of the ship. After you Download the Override Code, return to your ship and return to the Crucible.
Upon returning to the Crucible, you will be met with tension from the three leaders arguing about what to do with the override code. Here, you will be choosing a leader to side with through dialogue options.
While this feels like a big decision, this decision only affects the outcome partially. If you side with FDR, you can choose Perhaps the Believers do not have to be our enemies to spare Amanirenas as well.
Siding with Genghis Khan seems to be the option with most casualties, as it will force you to kill both FDR and Amanirenas.
After choosing a leader to side with, talk to Ada Lovelace and have her decrypt the Override Code.
Return to the Facility and unlock the previously locked area, and make your way to the Datacore. Prepare to fight against Clones and Robot Enemies along the way.
Near the Facility Datacore, you will face a Level 76 Clone Leader. You can defeat him to obtain his gear, but otherwise you can just sneak past him to reach the Datacore.
Accessing the Datacore will give you three options, each leading to a different ending. After choosing what to do with the crucible, the quest will end, and depending on your choice, you can return to the crucible to talk to Amelia Earhart and recruit her as a companion!
Once you reach the datacore, you will have three options regarding the Crucible.
Choice | Outcome |
---|---|
Reboot and restore current Mission parameters | Nothing will change, clones will still be trapped in the Crucible. Quest will end and your credit reward will be 3000 Credits. |
Reboot and choose a new Super-Admin | Additional choice will be made if you will give leadership to FDR, Amanirenas, or Genghis Khan. Quest will end after you return to the Crucible and talk to newly appointed leader. Credit reward will be 6000 Credits. |
Initiate Full Project Cleanse | All clones will be killed. Credit reward will be 2000 Credits. |
Restoring mission parameters is the neutral ending, since nothing will change from when you first arrived. Talking to the leaders after this choice will make them reasonably upset, and tell you that after everything you went through, you still chose to keep things as they are.
Rebooting and choosing a new Super-Admin looks to be the best ending, since it will lead to the clones working towards their freedom. Keep in mind that you can only give the Super-Admin role to a living leader, so your choice during the Crucible Leader Meeting will affect the choices here.
The Full Project Cleanse is the bad ending for this quest, with the game giving you the least amount of credits for choosing this ending. Doing so will result in the immediate death of all clones. This also means that you cannot recruit Amelia Earhart, as she will be dead once you return to the Crucible.
List of All Side Quests and Rewards
If you side with Kahn, you can request a compromise with Roosevelt, and leave his society alone to stay there.
