| Cyber Runner's Cipher 01 is found in the reception area of Slayton Aerospace in Neon on planet Volii Alpha in the Voli star system.
To obtain this Skill Magazine, players will need to enter the elevator to Slayton Aerospace on the right side of the Astral Lounge from Neon Core. Once inside, turn left at the reception table to see a set of benches and tables, with the skill magazine resting on rightmost table. |

| Cyber Runner's Cipher 02 is found in Apex Electronics in The Well on planet Jemison.
To obtain this Skill Magazine, players will need to enter the elevator on the right side of Jemison Mercantile from the New Atlantis Spaceport. Once inside The Well, walk straight past the House of the Enlightened on the left, and turn left to see the Trade Authority and Apex Electronics on the right. Enter Apex Electronics and loot the Cyber Runner's Cipher 02 from the table on the right side. |

| Cyber Runner's Cipher 03 is found on a desk near some chests in the Neuradyne Botany Laboratory on Beta Marae I.
To get to the Skill Magazine, players will need to climb up the facility and then head toward the left of the rooftop. The greenhouse with the magazine should be visible from the stairs leading to the topmost area of the laboratory. |

| Cyber Runner's Cipher 04 is found inside a rentable room in the Volii Hotel in Neon on planet Volii Alpha in the Volii star system.
Upon entering Neon, turn right to find the large neon Volii Hotel sign. Enter the building and speak to Minerva Clement to rent a room for either a day or a week. Once you've rented a room, take the elevator on Minerva's left (your right) to go to the 2nd floor of the Volii Hotel. Enter your room and loot the skill magazine off the coffee table on the right in between the two seats. |

| Cyber Runner's Cipher 05 can be found during the Ryujin Industries mission, Sabotage.
The skill magazine should be on a counter near the Neuroamp Prototype quest objective in the Research and Development area of Infinity Limited HQ in New Atlantis. |

| 1 Magazine | Laser weapons permanently do 5% more critical damage. |
| 2 Magazines | Adds a bankable auto-attempt for hacking. |
| 3 Magazines | Adds another bankable auto-attempt for hacking. |
| 4 Magazines | Stealth is permanently increased by 1%. |
| 5 Magazines | Basic and Advanced Technology skills are permanently unlocked 2% faster (on top of any other bonuses). |
Collecting certain numbers of Cyber Runner's Ciphers will give you corresponding permanent buffs. These buffs focus on Stealth and Technology skills, with a bit of an offensive aspect with the increase in Laser weapon critical damage.
The list of Technology skills that will benefit from the Cyber Runner's Ciphers buff is as follows:

Obtaining Skill Magazines will automatically give you permanent bonus effects based on the number of magazines you've collected in a certain category. Whether you decide to sell or drop the magazine after getting it will not affect the buffs you've received.
Bonus effects from collecting Skill Magazines will remain in your New Game Plus playthrough. This will also allow you to gain new effects after obtaining similar magazines you've gathered in different universes.
After activating all bonus effects, the Skill Magazines will no longer have any bonus descriptions and are only good for selling.
