1. Talk to Alban Lopez

Talk to Alban Lopez at Lopez's Farm. The planet where you can find the farm will be different for each playthrough.

2. Repair the Lopez Communication Satellite

Get back to your ship and fly over to the communication satellite located in the orbit of the randomly assigned planet. You'll encounter some Spacer Ships once you arrive so prepare for space combat and take them out.

Once the spacers have been dealt with, approach the Lopez Satellite and repair it.

3-5. Repair Three Communication Satellites

Alban will then ask you to repair the Wen, Banda, and Lemaire communication satellites. Each located on the orbit of three different planets. You can fix the satellites in any order!

There will be spacer ships flying around the orbit of the planets, so be sure to destroy them first before repairing the satellites.

6-7. Report Back to Alban Lopez on Jacquelyn's Ship

Dock and board Jacquelyn Lemaire's ship and report back to Alban Lopez. Once onboard, wait for the short family meeting to end, then talk to Alban to receive 2500 Credits for your work on repairing the satellites.

8-9. Get Chanda Banda to Join Defense Pact

Approach Chanda Banda near the ship's ladder and ask him to join the defense pact which he'll happily accept. Speak to Alban Lopez again and he'll ask you to eliminate two groups of spacers.

He'll further offer you some backup ships to tag along with you during the fight and you can choose to accept their help or decline it.

Tell Alban You Can Take Out the Two Groups on Your Own

Refuse Alban's offer to provide backup for now, since the two spacer groups are easier, and you will need the backup ships later on once you take on the Spacer Base.

(Optional) Get Jacquelyn Lemaire to Join Defense Pact

You can persuade Jacquelyn to join the defense pact by filling up 6 bars of the persuasion meter within 3 turns. If successful, she'll agree to join the pact. Alternatively, you can pay Jacquelyn 2000 Credits to make her join the Defense Pact.

Successfully convincing Jacquelyn will strengthen your spaceship reserve during the initial assault significantly, since she will take 2 out of the 4 Spacer groups.

10 Eliminate the Spacer Ships

Destroy the spacer ships flying in the airspace of the two planets Alban asked you to go to. You can choose to clear them in any order. Alban's ships will assist you in the battle if you agreed for their help earlier.

Using the Mantis Ship Razorleaf can be beneficial during early stages of the game, since spacer ships have a fairly high HP.

11. Report Back to Alban Lopez

Report back to Alban who has returned to Lopez's Farm. He'll then task you with infiltrating the spacer base on an old derelict Startstation.

There's some neat stuff that you can loot on the farm, mainly some ammo that you can stock up on before fighting the spacers.

12. Clear Out Spacer Ships

Travel to the Starstation on the planet assigned and eliminate the spacer ships patrolling outside of the base.

13. Clear the Spacers from the Retrofitted Spacestation

Board the Retrofitted Spacestation and kill all the spacers aboard. You'll be fighting in close-quarters combat so a shotgun might be worth using here to clear the station out fast.

Combat Tips and Mistakes to Avoid

Open Safes for Extra Loot

Throughout the Retrofitted Spacestation, we found a total of 4 Locked Safes, and a Galbank Safe that requires a Keycard. These safes can be unlocked and may contain valuable gear or Credits.

The Galbank Safe Keycard can be found on the room above the room with Safes. Additionally, there is a Skill Magazine beside it that you can collect for permanent boosts.

14. Talk with Alban Lopez

Meet Alban Lopez by the bridgeway of the station and inform him that the Spacers have been dealt with. You'll be rewarded with 5000 Credits for completing the side quest.

Should You Accept Lopez' Credit Reward?

Given that the families are not that wealthy, the morally good choice would be to let them keep the Credits. Ultimately, the choice is still yours, as accepting or rejecting the reward does not have any apparent consequence, so choose whichever suits your character best.
