You can get the Mark I armor set at the Lodge without the need for Master-level lockpicking or any digipicks at all. To do so, aim your crosshair at the mannequin's arm through the gap between the glass panels. If successful, you should see the prompt change to Mannequin instead of a locked door.
This is very much worth the effort as this is one of the best armor sets in the game, and you can get it as soon as you have access to the Lodge's basement!
Mark I Spacesuit - Stats Overview
Use this XP Glitch to level up fast and obtain 40-80XP whenever you kill a planet's fauna.
You need to set your game's difficulty to Very Hard and find a high level planet with abundant or moderate fauna. The Schrodinger III planet at the Schrodinger Star System is a good example to use this method.
Once you land on the planet, set your difficulty to Very Easy. Doing so causes the planet to load at a Very Hard difficulty giving you large XP gain but the fauna will have their difficulty set to Very Easy.
