Wait 24 local hours to restock a vendor's money and 48 local hours to restock their inventory in Starfield. Read on to learn how to do a vendor credit reset, reset vendor inventory, how to wait to pass the time, and more!

Wait 24 Local Hours

Starfield - Wait 24 Hours

You can quickly restock a vendor's credits (money) by waiting for 24 Local Hours. Find a chair and sit on it and choose to wait for 24 Local Hours. You can also sleep on a bed to achieve the same results.

Wait 48 Local Hours

Starfield - Buy from Vendors

Wait 48 Local Hours to refresh a vendor's inventory. Find somewhere to sit or sleep on and choose the maximum duration. Do this twice to get a total of 48 Local Hours.

Keep in mind that vendors may have slightly different items to sell than from when you last visited.

Note: Refreshing inventory does not mean it will change their stock completely. It is possible for everything to change, or for only one item to change.

You can also reset a ship vendor's inventory using a slightly different method. First you will need to travel to Venus in the Sol star system and sleep for 24 Local Hours on your ship. Then, go back to a ship vendor and check his inventory.

This method works the best since 1 Hour on Venus is equal to 100 Hours in Universal Time. Sleeping there ensures you skipped enough time to reset every known ship vendor in the game.

MajorSlackAttack (YT) proved vendor money and inventory resets the second time you wait past Midnight UT (Universal Time.) Waiting occurs in local time. (I.E. if UT is 23:00 you need to wait enough local time to pass 00:00 UT twice, or as little as 25hrs UT.)
