Starfield - Visit the London Landmark
The one of the landmarks that is still standing is The Shard, the tallest building in London and in western Europe. You can travel to this location when you pick up a copy of Oliver Twist.

At the foot of the ruined building is a miscellaneous item called London Snow Globe which shows the aforementioned building, The London Eye ferris wheel, The Big Ben, and the Tower of London. Pick up this item to get 100XP.

Visit the Pyramids at the Cairo Landmark

Starfield - Cairo Landmark

Another landmark left standing on Earth are the ruins of the pyramids in Cairo. You can unlock the Cairo Landmark when you purchase a copy of The Ancient Civilization of Egypt in Sinclair Books in Akila City.

Visit the Empire State Building at the New York Landmark

Starfield - Visit the Empire State Building at the New York Landmark
You can also unlock a landmark that leads you to the ruins of the Empire State Building on Earth. You need to steal the book, Our Lost Heritage, on the desk of the President Alexandra Abello at the Office of the President floor in the MAST building at New Atlantis.

You can also find a New York Snow Globe near the ruins. Picking up this miscellaneous item gives you 100XP.

The Adoring Fan Returns with the Same Voice Actor

The Adoring Fan is an NPC follower originally from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. He has gained a reputation among Elder Scrolls fans for being annoying, as he always comes back, even after you kill him.

He retuns in Starfield as a follower if you have the Hero Worshipped trait and is voiced by Craig Sechler, who voiced the original Adoring Fan in Oblivion.

Some Star Systems are Named After Scientists and Sci-Fi Authors

The Heisenberg Star System shown in the image above is named after Werner Karl Heisenberg, a German theoretical physicist who pioneered the theory of quantum mechanics.

Some of the Star Systems that you can enter in Starfield are named after prominent scientists. These include Feynman, Heisenberg, Schrödinger, Bohr, Newton, and Linnaeus. We will update this section to add more as we uncover them in the game.

If you jump on top of the Apollo moon lander, you can find a snow globe called Apollo Snow Globe. Picking up this object gives you 100XP.

You can pick up a book called Sword of Damocles which contains an excerpt of a character called Damocles Grey killing the Reptilon High King with the titular sword.

The title of the book is a reference to the morale parable of the same name and often used as an expression to describe an impeding doom, similar to the "hanging by the thread" idiom.

Face on Mars

Starfield - Face on Mars
In Cydonia, you can find a statue called Face on Mars. Interacting with it describes that the face is not real but people made a statue out of it due to its mythical status.

This is a reference to a photo of a taken by NASA's Viking 1 orbiter in 1976 which resembled a human face, but later photos showed that the face is simply a rock formation.

At the very start of the game, you can find an NPC named The Hunter at the Viewpoint in New Atlantis. You can talk to him but he will brush you off and say that he might reveal things too early.

One of the logs at the Kreet Research Base mentions that there seems to be a connection between the Heatleeches and Terrormorphs. This foreshadows the true nature of the two species during the Hostile Intelligence quest in UC Vanguard questline.

The activity where you investigate the brownouts in The Well and its suceeeding side quest, Alternating Currents, are tied to a Crimson Fleet quest where you discover the culprints behind it.

In Breaking the Bank, you will discover that corrupt Galbank Executive Larry Dumbrosky is working with Gabriel Vera and Klaudia Twist to scam Galbank out of credits.

Klaudia Twist is the one who created the computer algorithm while Gabriel Vera, who is working with UC Security, shields the false Galbank Transactions from getting seen by UC Security.

Larry Dumbrosky, on the other hand, falsifies the records on the Galbank side.

The Concept of Unity

When first visiting Sanctum Universum in New Atlantis, you will find Keeper Aquilus speaking with his congregation outside the building.

During the discussion, one person mentions to concept of Unity, which is ultimately revealed where the Armillary takes you once you collect all the Artifacts.

Save Both Universes in Entangled

In the main quest, Entangled, you have the choice to save Director Patel's or Rafael's universe. However, there is a secret choice that allows you to save both universes.

You need to read the text log from Rafael's body which contains instructions on how to tinker with the lab computer in order to save both universes.

There is a note in The Eye staryard which is dedicated to Alex Hay, a fan who unfortunately passed away before the game's release date.

Bethesda has a tradition of including tributes to longtime fans of the games who pass away before the games' release. In Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a companion named Erik the Slayer is named after a fan who was given a tour of the studio as part of his final wish. He passed away six months before Skyrim's release date.

Monster Costume is Based on a Tardigrade

The Monster Costume that you can get from Dr. Guiliana Lakota in New Homestead is based on a real-life animal called Tardigrade.

These microscopic animals, known usually as water bears, can survive extreme environments and are thought to live on Earh for 600 million years.

Found Frankenstein by Mary Shelley on the AI ship Juno, both a neat book and an easter egg/secret related to Juno's story

"Find The Hunter in New Atlantis" You can meet him later again in Akila City with different chat options, but he still quiet about himself (by lore IMHO its a hunter who terrorize bandits for last 100 years or so). maybe you need to find him again somewhere to open some sidequest or to know his history.
