Starfield - How to Change and Select Pronouns

Players can change their pronouns in Starfield. Learn more about which pronouns you can use to be addressed as, and how to change your pronouns!

Change It After Placing Your Name

Starfield - Press B to Change Pronouns

You can change your pronouns during the character creation phase. After you place your name at the start of the game, press 'B' to toggle between the different pronouns.

Change Pronouns at Enhance!

Starfield - Enhance (New Atlantis)

Go to any Enhance! Salons and pay 500 credits to use their services. After you're finished with your adjustments, you'll be prompted to confirm the changes. You can change your pronouns there, as well as your name, and confirm the changes.

The earliest Enhance! Salon you can encounter is found in the Commercial District of New Atlantis. Their services are also available on all major cities across the galaxy.

What Pronouns Are Available?

He/Him, She/Her, or They/Them

Players can choose to be referred to as He/Him, She/Her, or They/Them in Starfield. This lets the player feel more comfortable and respected on how they prefer to be referred to.
