| GRUNT Issue 01 can be looted off a corpse near the Red Mile Beacon on the planet Porrima III in the Porrima system.
Players will need to speak to Mei Devine to attempt the Red Mile challenge in order to access the crater below. Once there, head towards the beacon and loot the GRUNT Issue 01 from the corpse near the beacon switch. |

| GRUNT Issue 02 is on the table in the lounge area of the Seokguh Syndicate Hideout in Neon, on planet Volii Alpha in the Volii system.
There are two ways to enter the Seokguh Syndicate Hideout. Both of which are detailed in our Guilty Parties quest page. Whichever option you take, simply head to the 1st floort of the hideout and loot the skill magazine from one of the lounge tables on the right side of the room. |

| GRUNT Issue 03 is found in Waggoner Farm on Montara Luna, the moon orbiting planet Montara in the Cheyenne star system.
The skill book is found on a table in a camp nestled between the canyon east of the Waggoner Farm landing point. You will have to trek your way towards it to obtain it. |

| GRUNT Issue 04 is located on top of a table next to the ping pong table inside The Last Nova bar aboard The Key on planet Suvorov.
Players will typically arrive on The Key while progressing the faction quest, Rook Meets King. Once there, head over to The Last Nova from Shinya Voss' room. Once inside The Last Nova, head towards the bar and look to the right side for a ping pong table. The GRUNT Issue 04 is found on the next table, by the window. |

| GRUNT Issue 05 can be found at a procedurally generated Deserted UC Garrison site. Since these sites are unique to each character, you will have to check three dotted planets or moons if they have the site there.
When you land there, defeat the Spacers lurking in the area. Then, head inside the 2-story building and go to the second floor. You can find the magazine on top of a long desk next to a locked computer. |

| GRUNT Issue 08 is located on a desk in the Observation Corridor of the Retrofitted Starstation orbiting the planet Aranae III in the Aranae star system.
Enter the Retrofitted Starstation and follow the path right. Go straight until you find a set of steel upwards-leading stairs. Take the stairs to see 4 mannequinn display cases, with a 5th one further down the way. Head towards the 5th mannequinn and take the elevator to its left to the Observation Corridor. The elevator should open up to a long bridge. Follow the path and take the stairs up on the other side of the bridge. Enter the room at the top of the stairs and turn left when the path forks. Enter the first room on your right to find the desk containing the skill magazine beside the keycard needed to open the stolen safes in the room below. |

| GRUNT Issue 09 is located in a procedurally generated Deserted Colony War Barracks sites. These areas are unique to each character, so you will need to check three-dotted planets and moons for the site.
When you land at the site, kill the nearby spacers and head to the white 2-story building. Go to the second floor, and you can find the magazine on the dining table. |

| Number of Magazines Collected | Bonus Effect |
|---|---|
| 1 Magazine | Ballistic weapons permanently do 5% more critical damage. |
| 2-5 Magazines | Ballistic weapons permanently do an additional 5% more critical damage. (Stacking) |
Collecting certain numbers of GRUNT Issues will give you corresponding permanent buffs. These buffs give significant boost to the critical damage of your Ballistic weapons.
Obtaining Skill Magazines will automatically give you permanent bonus effects based on the number of magazines you've collected in a certain category. Whether you decide to sell or drop the magazine after getting it will not affect the buffs you've received.
Bonus effects from collecting Skill Magazines will remain in your New Game Plus playthrough. This will also allow you to gain new effects after obtaining similar magazines you've gathered in different universes.
After activating all bonus effects, the Skill Magazines will no longer have any bonus descriptions and are only good for selling.
